I just returned from this resort for a friend’s birthday celebration and my stay was wonderful. I did read the reviews before going which helped to monitor my expectations. I am happy to say my room was absolutely beautiful. It was clean and the view was great. The food was good, we dined at all restaurants on the resort. To previous reviewers credit it is possible to order the same thing twice and it come out different. Also it’s true per my experience that the portions can be a little small especially at breakfast. The Marley coffee is amazing! The food at the Italian restaurant was one of my favorites. The beach is beautiful and I love the boutique style of the hotel, it was refreshing to not walk a mile or 2 just to get to things on the resort, I loved that! The little town down the street is really cute and yes I felt safe and enjoyed the walk. I do wish they had more of a gift shop, I would have loved to buy a Marley T shirt and take home some of that coffee. I would return and I would recommend.

Had the most relaxing and attentive service while staying at The Fives and dining at the Romarley restaurant. Erick, Emir, and Jonathan took exceptional care of my family each day we dined on the beach. All staff were warm welcoming and aimed to please!

When I tell you I absolutely loved this place. We arrived to see the sunrise and eat breakfast. The cafe was not open but Moises said, "we can still get you coffee". I thought that was very nice, he could have easily said we would have to wait until they are ipen but he said. "Its my pleasure". The service here was excellent. So, we decided to get a day pass and it was a perfect ending to our vacation . Meet great people. Definitely a place to stay. Great people warching, the most diverse hotel guest if that matters to you. Well done.

Beautiful spot in Porto Morels. The pool and the restaurant area is very nice. You can eat on the terrace or inside. On the terrace you have a beautiful view of the ocean. They offer a day pass to hang out and use the facilities such as the beach and the pool for a min consumption of 1000 pesos per person which is well worth it. The service at the restaurants was very good, they were very attentive and most of them spoke English very well. The menu has lots of options definitely there’s something in there for everyone, they also have lots of vegan/vegetarian options which is a nice plus. Our food was good, we had jerk chicken and a salad which were both tasty, the octopus appetizers on the other was so, so it could of been more grilled. Over all this is a nice spot to come have lunch and enjoy the view and the great vibe this restaurant offers. Will definitely be back.

What can I say, when I arrived I was greeted by a very pleasant and jovial staff. They took all my required documents and while I wasn’t able to go to my room, I did have access to the entire resort from the time I arrived. Moises and the other waiters at the main restaurant were very pleasant and friendly. They held conversations with me even though I’m a novice when it came to speaking Spanish. They attended to me very well and attentively. I was pleasantly surprised when I received an upgrade to an ocean front suite that allowed me to wake up early every morning to enjoy the sun rise. They were very helpful with my every need and question. The Mayan sunset show on Friday evening was very delightful and interesting. However, while I enjoyed that the resort was not sprallingly large and there weren’t lots of guests, it was kind of hard to get a beach chair on the beach sometimes. The one time I was able to get one, unfortunately, I was ignored by the wait staff in the area where I was relaxing. Everyone around me was being waited after hand and foot while I had to walk to the bar by the pool when I wanted something to drink. I did manage to wave down a waiter to get me a drink and a bottle of water and I had to ask someone who wasn’t a waiter for some lunch. That was 3 hours after being on the beach and it was only after that that a waiter came over and asked me if I wanted anything. At that point i had just returned from the bar and had a full drink so I wasn’t in need of anything.

After my two week stay at the fives, I was not once dissapointed by Romarely beach house. The breakfast contains a choice between three juices, three starters, three sides and eight mains, four being pancake/waffle dishes and the others egg dishes. They are all amazing, but my favorites were the "yogurt and fruits", "hibiscus", "waffles and chicken" and "tutti frutti" juice. I recomend trying every single one if you have the oppertunity though. The lunch and the dinner offer a variety of great dishes too. Whether you want something mexican or something that tastes like home, there will be something for you. The restaurant is clean and cozy with views of the beautiful carribean ocean. Bob Marely's nephew founded the restaurant, you can see many portraits of them in there. There will also be reggae music playing in the background which is a plus in my book. The service is some of the best I've had ever. Everyone seems to genuinly care about you and to make your experience the best it could possibly be. Moises, Erick and Baldo took fantastic care of me and my family, I which I could see them again sometime in the future. Say hello to them from me, Viktor, if it's possible. Thank you so much for providing us with a great part of the experience here at the fives.
